During my time at 2i Global, I had the valuable opportunity to redesign a web application for the VetScene platform. This platform, specifically designed for pet owners, allowed me to leverage my UX/UI design skills to enhance the user experience and visual appeal of an existing product. This project deepened my understanding of how to improve and modernize web applications for a specific user base.

Challenge

The main challenge was designing a user-friendly web application for veterinary clients with varying levels of digital literacy. The platform needed to simplify complex health-related information and present it in a clear, accessible way, while ensuring users can easily track their pets’ medical needs, appointments, and treatments. Balancing functionality with simplicity was crucial to avoid overwhelming users while still delivering all essential features.

Design

The design focused on creating a clean, intuitive interface with clear navigation and structured information hierarchy. Emphasis was placed on usability, ensuring that key actions such as tracking health records, scheduling visits, and accessing recommendations are easily accessible. During development, scalable components and consistent UI patterns were implemented to maintain performance and flexibility, enabling future feature expansion while preserving a seamless user experience.
